Introduction:  Patek Philippe 2451A stainless steel Calatrava measuring 31mm.  The watch is made between 1951-1952 and is fitted with a 10"-200 caliber 18-jewel movement #959660; case # 664822.  The dial has raised steel hour markers, sub second hand and silver dial.  The watch is further fitted with an calf skin strap .

Date & Paperwork:  The watch was made between 1951-1952
Essay:   The 2451 was introduced in 1949 and in production until 1958.  This model was introduced so there was a water resistant variation the the acclaimed 96 Calatrava reference.  The model was made in yellow gold and rose gold with a few examples in stainless steel.  The watch measures 31.5mm with a screw down water resistant back case.
